About ‘Helping Hearts for the needy’ and the Board details:

• As the name sounds, the founder of the Helping Hearts for the needy, Mr. Hari Krishna, along with a group of individuals with common goals, has this organizational establishment in a mission to accomplish a helping support for those in need.
• The name is hence carefully chosen to reflect the set mission to help the needy- “Helping Hearts for the needy”, which was a thought of its organizers in 2013 but took its shape in 2014 completely licensed and registered (Regd. Food donation –On multiple occasions, we have generously donated food packets to those in need, providing sustenance for thousands of individuals. Our unwavering commitment is to reduce hunger within our community, and we will continue to actively work towards achieving this goal by extending our helping hand to those who require it the most.

Blanket distribution – Our team has been able to spread kindness and comfort by distributing hundreds of cozy blankets to those who need them the most. Our efforts have reached orphanages, old age homes, and even the streets where the homeless find shelter. We are driven by the desire to make a positive impact in our community and provide a glimmer of hope to those who may be struggling.

Celebration of occasions – To support the celebrations on specific occasions like birthdays, Independence Day celebrations, cultural activities, who cannot afford things, our organization has implemented a comprehensive program to donate essential items such as food, groceries, and stationery. Through this program, we have been able to feed over one hundred thousand individuals by providing them with nutritious meals. Additionally, we have provided much-needed groceries to one hundred orphanages, ensuring that the children in their care have access to healthy food options. We are proud of the impact that our program has had on the community and remain committed to continuing our efforts to help those in need.

Fees support for students – We share a deep conviction that education is vital for children, and we wholeheartedly believe that investing in their learning today will shape them into responsible citizens of tomorrow. Our program has successfully educated over 100 students, and we are proud to say that those who have received our support have excelled in their studies and are now pursuing higher education.

Women Empowerment – We are passionate advocates of gender equality and women empowerment. Our mission is to equip women with the necessary skills and knowledge to become independent and influential leaders in their communities. We provide top-notch vocational training and skill development programs that promote financial stability and career growth for women. Our unwavering commitment to women’s health and well-being ensures access to quality healthcare and family planning services. We stand by our accomplishments in conducting free tailoring classes and donating sewing machines to uplift women in rural areas. We have successfully trained 150 women in the art of tailoring through 5 batches of sessions and also donated 10 tailoring machines to them for their upliftment.

Medical Support to the Needy – Access to quality medical care is a right, not a privilege, and our organization is committed to making it a reality for everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We provide financial assistance for medical expenses, surgeries, and treatments, and we don’t take no for an answer when it comes to helping those in need. We have already made a significant impact on many lives, ensuring that they receive the medical care they require. Our team is determined to continue this mission and won’t stop until everyone has access to quality healthcare. We urge you to join us in this fight to provide medical support for the needy. Supporting Orphanages & Old Age Homes – We extend our helping hand to orphanages and nursing homes, providing them with the necessary resources to create a warm and supportive environment for those who lack families to depend on. We firmly believe that each person, regardless of their age, deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and honor.

Feminine products distribution – We also provide the facility of distributing basic feminine products like sanitary pads for girls in schools who cannot afford the expenses.

Impact after the completion of the Projects:
Over the past 9 years, we have had the privilege of running a successful organization that has been able to make a positive impact on the lives of many. Our unwavering commitment to our mission has allowed us to continuously provide support to those in need. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we were able to achieve remarkable things.

Educations centers:

•We provided tutoring for approximately 550 children through our Educations centers.
•We arranged over 3000+ blood requirements.
•Fed over 100,000 hungry people,
•Donated blankets to more than 1000+ people in need.
•We also took the time to teach tailoring to 150 rural women.
•Educate 100+ students,
•Even volunteered as scribes for blind students.
•We donated groceries to over 100+ needy families and 100+ old age/orphanage homes,
•we supported more than 100 verified medical needs.
•Through our special program, we were able to assist more than 10000+ kids, old-aged individuals, specially-abled individuals, and more on the donor’s special occasions like birthdays, naming ceremonies, or death anniversaries of their family members.

We are proud of the work we have accomplished thus far, and we will continue to strive towards making a positive and lasting impact on the world.

Functional operations of Helping Hearts:
As an organization with a mission of helping the needy, Helping Hearts is completely based on fundraising and donations from the members and donors that runs on the key factors like,

▪Occasional contributions.

Volunteer opportunities with certifications for the services:
Helping Hearts also provide opportunities to the people interested in volunteering the services for helping the needy with ‘Certificate of Internships’.
In brief, services indicate interacting at least once in a week with the children and teachers of the tuition centers to Guide, Motivate, and Teach the ways to survive in society and drive them to build their goals and achieve them.

Common challenges faced – Possible solutions:
In the present scenario, the main challenges being faced by our determined NGO that aim to help the needy and possible solutions are as follows

Our future plans:
▪Establishing free education for tribal kids.
▪Skill development centers for students to train job-oriented courses.
▪Collaboration with corporations, NGOs and individual donors to expand the beneficiary data throughout the country.
▪Doing what it takes to make every individual to be independent and improve the quality of life.
▪Proving education and skill development for all as we believe it is the only thing that never lets one to sleep hunger.
▪Creating Social Enterprise for women empowerment.
▪Career guidance – To develop a ‘Mobile Application’ that supports a huge number of students at once in building their career.
▪Making India a better place by eradicating poverty and improvising the stereotypical impressions of the people over it.

Support sought for future implementations/ Budget request:
As described about the mission of our organization and to achieve what it aims, we are at this end of requesting a support for the following budget which involves the following primary project objectives.

Provide Quality Education: To ensure that children have access to quality education, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for a better future.
Enhance Learning Environments: To create conducive learning spaces with improved infrastructure, resources, and technology.
Support Teachers: To recruit and retain qualified teachers and provide them with fair compensation to maintain educational excellence (15 women teachers are working with us).
Internet Access: Providing internet connectivity offers access to a vast world of online educational resources, including e-learning platforms, digital libraries, and research materials. This empowers children with knowledge beyond the restrictions of traditional textbooks and classrooms.
Rented Building: Acquiring or improving suitable facilities enhances the overall learning environment. It ensures students to have a safe, comfortable, and dedicated space for education, which can lead to better concentration and more positive learning experience.
Smart TVs and Educational Technology: Equipping classrooms with modern technology like smart TVs and educational software facilitates interactive and engaging learning. It makes lessons more dynamic, encouraging student participation and understanding.
Library Books and Educational Materials: Expanding the availability of library resources broadens students’ access to diverse educational materials. This encourages reading, research, and critical thinking, fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
Teacher Salaries and Training: Providing fair compensation and professional development opportunities for teachers attracts and retains skilled educators. Well-compensated and trained teachers are more motivated and capable of delivering high-quality education, positively impacting students’ learning outcomes.

Our tuition centers will run only in 10th month. For the remaining 2 months, the kids will have summer holidays and depending on the availability of the kids, summers camps will be arranged.
